The Coachella Valley gears up for a star-studded music festival with diverse international acts and steady ticket prices, promising a vibrant experience in 2024.

The Coachella Valley in California is abuzz with excitement as music enthusiasts flock to the premier arts festival set to kick off this Friday. The star-studded lineup includes headliners Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, and Tyler, the Creator, along with a highly anticipated reunion of No Doubt led by Gwen Stefani. Speculation is rife about a surprise appearance by Taylor Swift, despite her absence from the official roster. The festival, known for its diverse musical offerings, boasts an eclectic mix of international acts this year.

While ticket sales have been slower compared to previous years, prices remain steady at around $500 for general admission and over $1,000 for VIP passes. The 2024 edition follows a groundbreaking year in 2023, which saw Bad Bunny headlining as the first non-white major act and K-pop sensation Blackpink making history as the first top-billed Asian group.

This year's lineup features a range of artists, including Japan's virtual singer Hatsune Miku, making her Coachella debut. The festival also welcomes the first Cuban-born artist, Cimafunk, and a host of Latin acts such as Young Miko and Peso Pluma. Additionally, Saint Levant, a multi-cultural artist with roots in Jerusalem and Gaza, will showcase his unique sound at the event.

The festival will also see performances by British grime star Skepta and the iconic 90s group Sublime, with Brad Nowell's son Jakob leading the band. Despite a slight dip in ticket sales, Coachella 2024 promises a diverse and vibrant musical experience for attendees from around the world.
