Marvel and The Lakota Project collaborate on unique language dubs

Marvel fans are in for a treat as the 2012 film 'The Avengers' receives a special Lakota language dub, available exclusively on Disney+. This unique rendition is a result of a collaboration between Marvel and The Lakota Project, bringing together original actors like Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, and Robert Downey Jr. to voice their characters in Lakota.

The making of this dub was recently showcased in a video on Marvel's official YouTube channel, shedding light on the behind-the-scenes efforts that went into this project. Additionally, Marvel is set to release an Ojibwe language dub of 'Star Wars: A New Hope' on Disney+ later this year, as part of a larger initiative to celebrate and promote indigenous languages.

Thomas Draskovic, who voices Nick Fury in the Lakota dub, expressed the significance of this project in a recent interview.
