Zia Rasheed, known as Pakistan's tallest man, sadly passed away in Vehari at the age of 30 after a long battle with illness. His funeral was attended by a large number of people, including influential social and political figures.

At just 15 years old, Rasheed gained recognition as the tallest man in Pakistan. However, his life took a difficult turn when he was diagnosed with a knee-related disease at the age of 20, which unfortunately was not treated effectively. As time passed, his condition deteriorated, and a fall last year worsened his pain, ultimately leading to his untimely death.

In a 2018 interview, Rasheed shared that he had received taekwondo training for fitness and self-defense. He proudly claimed a height of eight feet and three inches, believing himself to be the world's second tallest man. Despite completing his matriculation, Rasheed expressed a strong desire to continue his education, but financial and logistical obstacles stood in his way.

He had reached out to the government for financial aid to enhance his quality of life. Sadly, his health continued to decline over the years, underscoring the critical need for timely medical intervention and support for individuals facing similar health challenges.

Zia Rasheed's story serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of accessible healthcare and support systems for individuals battling serious health conditions. His determination and resilience in the face of adversity inspire us to advocate for better healthcare services and assistance for those in need.
