BISP Office in Khairpur Inaugurates Feeding Room

In a significant move to support women beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), a feeding room was recently inaugurated at the BISP office in Khairpur. The initiative aims to provide a conducive environment for mothers to breastfeed their children comfortably.

The feeding room was officially opened by BISP Zonal Director of the North Zone, Zulifqar Ali Abro, with the generous donation of the facility by Action Against Hunger (AAH). The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ms. Rukhsana Mubarak and other officials, highlighting the importance of this initiative.

This initiative is particularly crucial for women from Sukkur, Qambar, and Shahdadkot districts who travel from remote areas to the BISP office. The feeding room will offer a suitable atmosphere for these women to breastfeed their children, ensuring their well-being and comfort during their visits.
