The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Syed Ali Raza, recently visited the Traffic Police headquarters at Faizabad to evaluate and improve the efficiency of traffic police services for the public. This visit aimed to enhance the delivery of civic services and ensure a disciplined traffic system in the capital city.

During the visit, Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk and other senior officials briefed DIG Islamabad on the Traffic Police operations. The focus was on addressing staff concerns, taking strict actions against traffic rule violators, and establishing special squads to manage traffic flow and prevent accidents.

Special attention is being given to enforcing regulations such as seat belt usage, prohibition of mobile phone use while driving, lane discipline, and mandatory helmet-wearing for motorcyclists.
