Itteqa Moin Murder Suspects Captured by Karachi Police

The suspects involved in the tragic murder of 27-year-old mechanical engineer Itteqa Moin in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Iqbal block 7 have been captured by the police's crime investigation unit. Moin, a distinguished gold medallist graduate from Hamdard University, was fatally shot during a robbery where the perpetrators not only took his life but also stole his motorcycle, mobile phone, and cash.

Initially, the police had filed a case against unknown individuals, but sources from the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) have now confirmed the arrest of the culprits responsible for Moin's untimely death. These suspects had attempted to flee to Balochistan after committing the crime, but police teams, led by the Senior Superintendent of Police from the Special Security Unit (SSU), successfully tracked down the robbers' network in Balochistan.

With Moin's demise, the number of fatalities resulting from resisting robberies in Karachi has risen to 71 this year, highlighting the growing concern over lawlessness in the city. In response to this tragic incident, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar has taken action by suspending the SHO of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Police Station and initiating a departmental inquiry to address the situation.
