Minor Girl Raped In Patna High-Rise Apartment

She was rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), where her condition has been reported as critical.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the central range, Dinesh Kumar Pandey, the girl was sent to the apartment by her mother for work. However, after the horrific incident took place, the victim's mother sought help from the Shastri Nagar police station, which subsequently alerted the authorities in Rajiv Nagar. The individual who was responsible for sending the girl to the apartment has had his car seized by the police as part of the investigation.

Authorities have detained several individuals connected to the case, although their identities have not been disclosed to the public. The girl, who resides in the Shastri Nagar area, is currently receiving treatment, and a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has been called to the scene to gather evidence. DSP Pandey stated, "A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has been summoned to the apartment to collect evidence, and the exact circumstances surrounding the incident will be clarified following the medical and forensic reports." Sources indicate that the FSL team has already collected a baton with blood stains, which may prove crucial in the investigation.

As the police await the victim's recovery to record her statement, the community is left grappling with the implications of such a heinous act. In a separate but equally disturbing incident, a girl who traveled to Patna from Mumbai with her boyfriend was allegedly gang-raped by him and his friends in a rented accommodation in the Kadam Kuan locality. Following her complaint, an FIR was filed at the Kadam Kuan police station, leading to the arrest of those involved. The victim reported that her boyfriend had lured her under the pretext of marriage before committing the crime.
