National Museum of Qatar Showcases Eight Decades of Pakistani Art

The National Museum of Qatar has recently unveiled an extraordinary exhibition titled "Manzar: Art and Architecture from Pakistan 1940s to Today." This exhibition showcases around 200 works from both master and contemporary Pakistani artists, highlighting the rich artistic heritage of Pakistan. The collaboration between the National Museum of Qatar and the Art Mill Museum aims to present a comprehensive view of how Pakistani art and architecture have evolved over the past eight decades.

"Manzar" delves into the unique visual languages developed by artists and architects, reflecting the vibrant art scene of Pakistan and its connections to the international community. The exhibition features renowned artists such as Abdur Rahman Chughtai and Zainul Abedin, who began their artistic journeys during the British Raj and continued to influence the art world after the Partition of India.
