Pakistan and China enhance cooperation with 13 agreements focusing on education, security, and economic development.

Furthermore, the two sides discussed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a vital initiative that aims to enhance economic ties and infrastructure development between the two nations. The minutes from the 13th meeting of the CPEC Joint Coordination Committee and the 7th Joint Working Group on Gwadar were also exchanged, indicating a continued focus on collaborative efforts in this area.

These include “Information and Communication,” “Water Conservancy Facilities, Flood Control and Calamity Reduction,” and “Security.” The exchange of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in these areas highlights the comprehensive nature of the partnership.
Moreover, the two nations are also collaborating on human resource development and have initiated an assistance program for fire-fighting vehicles to be provided to Islamabad. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to enhancing public safety and emergency response capabilities.

This agreement was signed by the Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambreen Jan, and the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong.
