SHO Khubab Wali injured in police-robber exchange

An exchange of gunfire between a police team and unidentified robbers in Dera Ismail Khan resulted in the Station House Officer (SHO) sustaining bullet wounds. The incident took place late on Sunday night within the jurisdiction of Yarik police station. The Yarik police station received a report of a motorcycle theft and promptly dispatched a team led by SHO Khubab Wali to the scene. Upon arrival, the robbers opened fire on the police team, leading to a swift response from the officers. Unfortunately, during the exchange of gunfire, SHO Khubab Wali was hit by a bullet. The robbers managed to escape in the darkness and dense vegetation surrounding the area. SHO Khubab Wali was quickly rushed to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
