Pakistan's Azam Khan out of T20I series against New Zealand due to calf injury. Rehabilitation advised for 10 days.

Pakistan's cricket team has been dealt a blow as Azam Khan, the promising young talent, has been ruled out of the ongoing T20I series against New Zealand due to a Grade One tear in his right calf muscle. The injury was confirmed by radiology reports, prompting the team management to advise a 10-day rest for Azam.

The 22-year-old will now have to undergo rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy under the supervision of the PCB medical panel. The injury was first noticed during a training session at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium ahead of the first T20I match.

Pakistan and New Zealand are currently engaged in a closely contested T20I series, with the final match scheduled to take place in Lahore on April 27. Azam's absence will be a setback for the team, as he has shown great promise in his recent performances.
