French President Macron is hopeful about Kylian Mbappe's participation in the Paris Olympics despite Real Madrid's stance. Mbappe faces challenges due to club commitments and upcoming Euro 2024 before a potential move to Real Madrid.

French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his optimism that national team captain Kylian Mbappe would participate in the upcoming Paris Olympics. Macron's statement came during a school visit in Paris, where he responded to students' inquiries about Mbappe's potential Olympic involvement. Despite Mbappe's desire to represent France at the Games, Real Madrid's recent declaration that they would not release players for the Olympics seemed to jeopardize his participation.

The 25-year-old forward, a key player for both Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team, is expected to join Real Madrid after his current contract expires. The Olympic football tournament, scheduled from July 24 to August 9, poses a challenge as it does not align with FIFA international match dates, allowing clubs to retain their players. However, Mbappe is set to lead France at Euro 2024, taking place from June 14 to July 14 in Germany.

France's Olympic football team, led by Mbappe, will compete against the United States, New Zealand, and another team yet to be determined. Macron also mentioned his intention to attend the Euro 2024 semi-finals and final in Germany if France advances to those stages. Notably, the final in Berlin coincides with France's national day on July 14.
