Mohammad Rizwan Breaks T20I Record with 3000 Runs

Mohammad Rizwan has etched his name in the record books by becoming the fastest player to reach 3000 runs in T20 International cricket. The Pakistani wicket-keeper batter achieved this milestone during the second T20I match against New Zealand, where his crucial 45-run innings led his team to victory.

Rizwan's feat is even more remarkable considering he accomplished it in just 79 innings, outpacing the likes of Babar Azam and Virat Kohli, who both took 81 innings to reach the 3000-run mark. This achievement solidifies Rizwan's position as one of the premier batsmen in the T20 format.

Notably, Babar Azam and Virat Kohli were previously the joint-fastest players to score 3000 runs in limited-overs cricket, with Aaron Finch following closely behind, achieving the milestone in 98 innings.
