The West Indies cricket team dominates Uganda in a T20 World Cup match, showcasing exceptional bowling and batting performances to secure a resounding victory.

The West Indies cricket team showcased a dominant performance in a T20 World Cup match against Uganda, securing a resounding victory by a massive 134-run margin. The match, held at a neutral venue, witnessed an exceptional display of bowling prowess by the West Indies team.

In a remarkable turn of events, Uganda, tasked with chasing a target of 174 runs, faltered significantly and was bundled out for a mere 39 runs in just 12 overs. This low total equaled the record for the lowest team score in a men's T20 World Cup match, previously set by the Netherlands in a match against Sri Lanka.

Seamer Akeal Hosein emerged as the star performer for the West Indies, claiming an impressive five-wicket haul by conceding only 11 runs in his allotted four overs. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious Player of the Match award and etched his name in the tournament's history as the first West Indies bowler to achieve this feat in a men's T20 World Cup match.

Alzarri Joseph also made a significant contribution to the team's victory, taking two crucial wickets for just six runs in his three overs. On the batting front, Johnson Charles led the charge for the West Indies with a solid knock of 44 runs off 42 deliveries, supported by Andre Russell's quickfire 30 off 17 balls.

Despite the one-sided nature of the match, Uganda's Juma Miyagi stood out as the lone batsman to reach double figures, scoring an unbeaten 13 runs off 20 balls. Uganda's captain, Brian Masaba, was the most successful bowler for his team, finishing with figures of 2-31 in his four overs.

This victory marked the West Indies' second triumph in the tournament, following a less convincing win against Papua New Guinea. Uganda, on the other hand, had previously suffered a heavy defeat to Afghanistan but had shown promise with a maiden T20 World Cup win against Papua New Guinea.

The West Indies' commanding performance against Uganda reaffirms their status as a formidable force in the T20 format. With exceptional bowling and batting displays, the team has set a high standard for their competitors in the tournament.
