Israeli Airstrikes Claim 33 Lives in Gaza Amid Humanitarian Crisis

In recent days, the Gaza Strip has witnessed a tragic escalation in violence, with Israeli forces conducting extensive military operations that have resulted in significant loss of life. Further strikes targeted residential areas, with one incident in the Remal neighborhood of Gaza City killing four people. Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya, described the harrowing conditions faced by medical staff and patients. He reported that the hospital was bombed without warning while they were attempting to care for an injured patient in the intensive care unit. Abu Safiya lamented the arrest of 45 medical personnel and the denial of entry for replacement staff, stating, "We are now losing wounded patients daily who could have survived if resources were available." The hospital is currently overwhelmed, with 85 injured individuals, including children and women, receiving treatment. Tragically, 17 children have shown signs of malnutrition due to severe food shortages, and one man recently died from dehydration.

The situation in Gaza is increasingly desperate, with humanitarian aid being severely restricted. Food, water, and medical supplies are not allowed to enter the region, and ambulances are denied access to the north.
