Jordan And Egypt Enhance Energy Connectivity Through Arab Gas Pipeline

During the meeting, Jordan’s Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, and Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, focused on the feasibility of connecting Jordan’s Risha Gas Field to the Arab Gas Pipeline. This proposed connection would span approximately 300 kilometers and is based on recent studies that have identified commercially viable gas reserves in the Risha field. The Arab Gas Pipeline itself is a significant regional project that transports natural gas from Egypt to Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon, covering over 1,200 kilometers.
