Malaysia Reports Injuries to UN Peacekeepers in Lebanon Blast

KUALA LUMPUR: In a troubling development, Malaysia has reported that six of its peacekeepers, who are serving under the United Nations, sustained injuries due to an explosion in Lebanon. This incident occurred near the Saida Stadium on Thursday, as confirmed by the Malaysian defence ministry in a statement released shortly after midnight.

The ministry described these injuries as “minor,” although one peacekeeper did suffer a fracture in the left arm and required hospitalization.
