Notably, Vice President Kamala Harris has emerged as a fundraising powerhouse, amassing over $1 billion for her campaign. Impressively, 40% of this amount has come from small donors, showcasing a broad base of support. In contrast, former President Donald Trump has raised $382 million directly for his campaign, supplemented by an additional $694 million from affiliated political committees. This demonstrates the diverse strategies candidates employ to secure financial backing.

Among the notable contributions, Timothy Mellon, an 82-year-old banking heir, made headlines by donating $197 million to Trump and various Republican causes.
