Ren Hongbin, the chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Germany. Ren's invitation to more German companies to participate in the CISCE reflects a desire to strengthen ties and enhance the stability and efficiency of global supply chains.
Du Chunguo, the Chinese consul general in Dusseldorf, reinforced the idea that Sino-German cooperation is built on a solid foundation of strong economic and trade relations. He pointed out the vast potential for collaboration in traditional sectors such as mechanical engineering and automobiles, while also highlighting emerging fields like green transformation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. Andreas Schmitz, chairman of the Dusseldorf Chamber of Commerce and the German-Chinese Business Association (DCW), noted the close cooperation between the DCW and CCPIT in recent years. The forum attracted around 130 representatives from various German and Chinese enterprises, who shared valuable case studies on collaboration in industrial and supply chains.
The China International Exhibition Center Group provided insights into the upcoming CISCE and signed agreements with the DCW, further solidifying the partnership between the two countries.
