Blake Shelton opens up about unexpected love journey

Blake Shelton, the country music star and former coach on 'The Voice,' recently opened up about his surprising journey to finding love with fellow musician Gwen Stefani. The couple first crossed paths on the set of 'The Voice' in 2014, but it wasn't until later that their relationship blossomed.

During a candid interview with Entertainment Tonight, Blake revealed that when he first met Gwen during her debut season on the show, they didn't have much interaction. He admitted, 'If you would've told me the first season that we met that what was gonna happen, I would've been like, "No, we actually don't even have anything to even talk about. What are you talking about?"'

Despite his initial doubts, Blake expressed his deep love and commitment to Gwen, emphasizing that he couldn't imagine a life without her. He described her as his 'missing piece' and acknowledged the profound impact she has had on his life.

Reflecting on his departure from 'The Voice' after 23 seasons, Blake shared that while he misses the close-knit relationships he formed with the show's crew and producers, he felt it was time for a change. He explained, 'I totally needed a break from that, because if I wasn't into it then it wasn't good for whoever was on my team.'
