Kris Fade's Dubai Journey: Life, Family, and KIA EV9 Adventures

Dubai, often referred to as the jewel of the United Arab Emirates, is a city that captivates people from all over the globe. Kris Fade's journey began at a young age; he started working at just 14 years old, making milkshakes and smoothies in a café. His humble beginnings paved the way for a successful career in radio, but his move to Dubai 16 years ago was unexpected. He humorously recalled telling his parents in Sydney, Australia, that he would only be gone for a couple of years. “I did tell my parents in Sydney where I grew up in Australia I said ‘I'll be gone for a couple of years, Mom and Dad, I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll just go and uh get a bit of experience and yeah 16 years later I'm still here and it's out of choice,” he said.

As a father of three, Kris expressed his comfort and reassurance in raising his children in Dubai. “There's nothing like this city right now that makes me feel at home and the safety of it and just everything that it has to offer,” he stated. He emphasized that he has “zero fear” when his daughters are out with friends or at the mall, highlighting the sense of security that Dubai provides.

Kris Fade's journey has not been without its challenges. He candidly shared that he struggled academically and was unable to attend college. His early experiences in the radio industry were also tough, as he was often asked to perform silly stunts for promotions. “In my life and in my journey I have felt lost so many times. Even today there will be moments where I feel lost and even though I have quote-unquote success and I have good money and I’ve got my cars and my house, you sometimes feel lost and that’s okay, it’s okay to feel lost,” he reflected.

During the episode, Kris also praised the KIA EV9, calling it a “game changer” due to its futuristic design, advanced safety features, and impressive all-electric range of 497 kilometers. The episode concluded on a light-hearted note, with Ranvijay Singha humorously completing a punishment of 25 push-ups after failing a KIA challenge.
