Nintendo enriches its Nintendo Switch Online library with classic N64 racing games, Extreme-G and Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls, offering a diverse selection of retro gaming experiences for subscribers.
Nintendo has expanded its Nintendo Switch Online library by adding two classic N64 racing games: Extreme-G and Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls. Extreme-G, released in October 1997, is a futuristic racing game reminiscent of WipEout, developed by Probe and published by Acclaim. The game's popularity led to the creation of three sequels. On the other hand, Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls, launched in August 1998, is a unique title developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim. This game features racing balls with distinct personalities navigating obstacle courses, with Iggy as the main character.
These N64 additions join the existing lineup of classic games available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members, which includes iconic titles like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Mario Kart 64. The expansion pack also offers access to SEGA Genesis and Game Boy Advance games, providing a diverse selection of retro gaming experiences for subscribers.
With the inclusion of Extreme-G and Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls, Nintendo continues to cater to fans of nostalgic gaming experiences, offering a blend of well-known classics and hidden gems from the N64 era. Players can now enjoy these racing titles on the modern Nintendo Switch platform, bringing back memories of intense speed and quirky characters from the past.
