Deputy Commissioner of Pishin takes decisive action to prevent distribution of unhygienic meat. Balochistan Food Authority intercepts spoiled meat from Multan-bound coaches, safeguarding public health.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Pishin, Juma Dad Mandokhel, has taken a decisive step to prevent the distribution of unhygienic meat in the region. The Balochistan Food Authority and Levies forces were directed to stop a significant attempt to transport spoiled meat from Multan-bound coaches at the Ziarat Cross. During an inspection of a coach headed for Multan, it was discovered that substandard meat intended for Quetta city was being carried. The traffic management authority promptly seized the coach and upon inspection, confirmed the presence of unhealthy meat.
Working in conjunction with other administrative bodies, the Balochistan Food Authority has been actively engaged in combating the circulation of unsafe meat in passenger coaches. Recent efforts have resulted in the confiscation and proper disposal of thousands of kilograms of hazardous meat from three separate coaches in the region.
It is crucial to ensure the safety and quality of food products being transported and consumed by the public. The vigilance and swift actions of the authorities in intercepting spoiled meat highlight the commitment to safeguarding public health. Such proactive measures play a vital role in maintaining food safety standards and protecting consumers from potential health risks.
