DPO Mansehra Launches Traffic Police Driving School for Road Safety

In a commendable effort to enhance road safety and improve driving standards, the Traffic Police Driving School in Mansehra has officially opened its doors. This initiative, inaugurated by District Police Officer (DPO) Shafiullah Gandapur, marks a significant milestone in the province's commitment to fostering responsible driving practices among its residents.

The establishment of this driving school follows a directive from the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Akhtar Hayat Khan, aimed at setting up Traffic Police Driving Schools across all districts. The primary goal of this initiative is to provide formal driver training to the local population, ensuring that they are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the roads safely.

The driving school offers specialized programs tailored for various types of vehicles, including motorcycles, motor cars, and Light Transport Vehicles (LTV). The training courses are designed to be comprehensive, consisting of a 14-day program that includes both theoretical and practical sessions. Participants will learn essential driving techniques, understand traffic signs, develop road sense, and gain insights into basic mechanical theory.

Classes at the driving school are structured to accommodate different schedules. Theoretical lessons are conducted on Saturdays, while practical training takes place on weekdays.
