Faisalabad Rain Tragedies Claim Lives, Injure Many

Recent heavy rainfall in Faisalabad has resulted in several tragic incidents, claiming the lives of three individuals and injuring four others. The downpour caused structural damages to houses and led to fatal accidents in different areas of the city.

In Jinnah Colony on Narrwala Road, a heartbreaking incident occurred when the roof of a house collapsed, causing the death of a 9-month-old baby girl named Madiha Fatima. The rescue team worked tirelessly to recover her body from the debris, bringing immense sorrow to her family.

Another devastating event took place in Sitara Park City on Jaranwala Road, where a three-year-old girl named Swera lost her life as a house wall crumbled due to the rain. Additionally, Iqra, the wife of Swera's father Imran, suffered injuries and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

Tragedy struck again in Madanpura Chowk on Narwala Road, where a 40-year-old shopkeeper named Ayub was fatally electrocuted. Ayub's accidental contact with the shop shutter while unlocking it led to his untimely demise, leaving the community in shock.

The final incident occurred on Kashmir Road in Ghulam Muhammad Abad, where the roof of a house collapsed during the rain, injuring three children: Marya (10), Eman Fatima (13), and Talha (17). The impact of the collapsing roof left the children with varying degrees of injuries, highlighting the dangers posed by the inclement weather.
