A viral video falsely implicating Judge Afzal Majoka in a scandal debunked by official sources and journalists, emphasizing the importance of fact-checking and seeking official confirmation to prevent the spread of misinformation.

Recently, a video circulating on social media purportedly showing Additional District and Sessions Judge Afzal Majoka alongside two women has been debunked by official sources. Judge Majoka, who had made headlines for refusing to suspend the sentences of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his spouse in an unlawful marriage case, was wrongly identified in the video.

The video gained attention on June 29 when a Facebook post claimed the man in the video was Judge Majoka. However, an official from the Islamabad court, Muhammad Siddique, and lawyers Murtaza Hussain Turi and Zahid Asif Chaudhry, who were involved in the iddat case, confirmed that the individual in the video was not the judge.

Journalist Arfa Feroz Zake from Geo News, who had been covering the unlawful marriage case, also verified that the online claims were false. Zake, along with the lawyers, confirmed Judge Majoka's true identity through an official image.

It is crucial to verify information before sharing it online. This incident highlights the importance of fact-checking and seeking official confirmation to avoid spreading misinformation. Readers are encouraged to reach out for any corrections or feedback regarding this matter.
