Malir Expressway Phase-1 Opening Next Month in Karachi

KARACHI: The Malir Expressway project, a significant infrastructure initiative in Sindh, is making substantial progress as it approaches the completion of its first phase. This ambitious project aims to enhance connectivity in the region, linking the Malir area to the M-9 Motorway and the National Highway. In his address, CM Murad Ali Shah emphasized the importance of expediting work on the Jam Sadiq Bridge connectivity. He instructed officials to ensure the completion of the Shaheen Interchange within a week, highlighting the urgency of the project. The Chief Minister also announced that the first phase of the expressway, which connects the Korangi causeway to Quaidabad, is set to open next month, a development that is eagerly anticipated by local residents and commuters.
