Dera Ismail Khan's Tehsil Mayor, Umar Amin Khan Gandapur, has taken proactive steps to ensure a clean and organized environment for the upcoming month of Muharram. With a focus on enhancing cleanliness along the routes of mourning processions, Mayor Gandapur has pledged to utilize all available resources for this purpose.

Mayor Gandapur has devised a detailed plan for cleanliness during Muharram ul Haram and has issued strict instructions to authorities to maintain a clean environment throughout the holy month. In a recent meeting with imambargah administrators and TMA officials, he emphasized the importance of preparing for Muharram and directed officials to address potential challenges such as monsoon rains by improving cleanliness in cities, procession routes, mosques, and imambargahs.

Recognizing the significance of Muharram-ul-Haram as a time for reflection on Imam Hussain's (AS) sacrifice, Mayor Gandapur assured that every effort would be made to facilitate participants of processions and gatherings.
