KARACHI: In a significant operation aimed at combating drug trafficking, the Pakistan Navy and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) have successfully seized a large quantity of narcotics in the North Arabian Sea. This operation highlights the ongoing battle against illegal drug trade in the region, which poses a serious threat to society and public health.
The operation involved the Pakistan Navy’s ship HUNAIN, which, in collaboration with the ANF, intercepted a consignment containing approximately two thousand kilograms of Hashish, three hundred and seventy kilograms of Ice, and fifty kilograms of Heroin. Additionally, the authorities discovered one hundred thousand illegal Indian-made pills, which are commonly used as drugs. These substances were intended to be transported via sea to an international destination, indicating the scale and seriousness of the operation.

This staggering figure underscores the financial implications of drug trafficking and the importance of such operations in curbing this illegal trade. The seized items have been handed over to the ANF for further legal proceedings, ensuring that those responsible for this operation will face justice.
