During the celebration, Minister Arora commended Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif for her efforts to foster goodwill among minority communities. He specifically praised her announcement regarding the issuance of special cards for minorities during the Diwali festivities. Furthermore, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reiterated the message that there should be no distinction between minorities and majorities in Pakistan.
