A seminar focusing on Blasphemy Laws and Social Responsibilities was recently conducted at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi. The event aimed to shed light on the importance of educational institutions in educating students about blasphemy laws and social duties. Speakers emphasized the need for the youth to comprehend both the positive and negative impacts of modern technology.

The seminar, a collaborative effort between PMAS-AAUR Directorate of Students Affairs and Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), featured Dr. Tanvir Qasim from PHEC as the chief guest and was chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem. During the session, speakers highlighted the detrimental effects of social media on society and advocated for state intervention to curb the misuse of digital platforms.

Furthermore, the significance of upholding Islamic values and following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a guiding model for Muslims was underscored.
