A group of 38 high-ranking officers from federal and provincial government agencies, currently enrolled in the 35th Senior Management Course at the National Institute of Management (NIM), recently paid a visit to the headquarters of the Special Security Unit (SSU) in Karachi. These officials, all holding Grade-19 positions in various departments, were amazed by the SSU's state-of-the-art facilities and top-notch professional training programs.

Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, the DIGP of the Security and Emergency Services Division, led the delegation and provided them with a comprehensive overview of the SSU's operational strategies. He emphasized the SSU's pioneering role as the creator of the nation's first Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T) team, along with the exceptional training given to its commandos.
