Nawaz Sharif refrains from guiding wheat import scam probe

The elder Sharif, Nawaz Sharif, has opted not to offer any guidance to the federal or Punjab government in relation to the wheat import scam that has recently come to light. An inquiry committee has been set up to investigate the matter thoroughly and is currently in the process of conducting a probe to uncover the truth behind the scandal.

Once the investigation is completed, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will seek advice from his elder brother, Nawaz Sharif, to determine the appropriate course of action based on the findings of the probe.
