ISLAMABAD - A parliamentary delegation from Pakistan, led by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, is preparing for a significant three-day visit to Russia starting on Wednesday, November 27. This visit aims to strengthen the relationship between Pakistan and Russia through enhanced inter-parliamentary contacts. The delegation's journey will conclude on December 1 and is made possible by an invitation from the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Volodin Vyacheslav Victorovich.

The primary goal of this visit is to foster friendly relations between the governments and peoples of both nations through parliamentary diplomacy. The delegation includes members from various political parties in Pakistan, such as Abdul Qadir Patel, Rana Muhammad Hayat Khan, Syed Agha Rafiullah, and Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar. This diverse representation underscores the importance of unity in Pakistan's approach to international relations.

During their time in Russia, the parliamentary delegation will engage in crucial meetings with key Russian officials. They are scheduled to meet with the Chairman of the State Duma, Volodin Vyacheslav Victorovich, which will be followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the State Duma and the National Assembly of Pakistan.
