PML-N Advisor Stresses Dialogue for Political Stability

In a recent statement, the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Political & Public Affairs reiterated the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's (PML-N) unwavering commitment to democratic values and the significance of engaging in political discussions. Emphasizing the need to prevent further escalation of political tensions within the country, he underscored the importance of fostering a culture of dialogue and understanding.

Expressing concern over the actions of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, the Advisor accused him of fueling animosity and chaos instead of seeking peaceful political solutions. He criticized the PTI's approach, highlighting a pattern of confrontation rather than cooperation.

Rana Sanaullah, a prominent figure within the PML-N, expressed his belief that all political challenges can be effectively addressed through constructive dialogue. However, he acknowledged the reluctance of certain parties to engage in meaningful conversations, attributing the current state of political turmoil in the country to the PTI's disruptive tactics.

When questioned about judicial reforms, the Advisor advocated for the implementation of a contempt of court law with progressive penalties. He proposed a three-stage system, beginning with a warning and monetary fine, followed by more severe repercussions such as disqualification in subsequent stages.
