The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir recently organized an iftar dinner for the Pakistan cricket team at Army House in Rawalpindi. This event took place following the cricket team's completion of physical training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) camp in Kakul, Abbottabad, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During the iftar dinner, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi and other PCB officials joined the players and COAS in the gathering. General Syed Asim Munir expressed his best wishes to the cricketers for their future endeavors, emphasizing the importance of their training and preparation.
The players, in turn, expressed their gratitude towards COAS for the exceptional training they received at Kakul and acknowledged the significant role played by the army in supporting sports activities in Pakistan.
