After exiting the ICC T20 World Cup, some Pakistan cricket team players choose to extend their stay in London to spend time with family and friends. Coaching staff also granted permission to return home before upcoming fixtures.

The Pakistan cricket team, after their exit from the ICC T20 World Cup, is embarking on their journey back to Pakistan. The team is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on June 19 via Dubai. However, it has been revealed that six players, including the captain, and four officials will not be part of this return journey. Captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, and Azam Khan have chosen to extend their stay in London. During this extended stay, the players intend to spend quality time with their families and friends, with some considering participation in local UK leagues.

On the other hand, head coach Gary Kirsten and assistant coach Azhar Mahmood will be returning to their respective homes. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted permission for the coaching staff to do so, as they currently have no immediate commitments. Looking ahead, the Pakistan cricket team is preparing to host a two-match Test series against Bangladesh in August, followed by a visit from the England Test team in October.

As the Pakistan cricket team readies itself for upcoming series, the decision of some players to prolong their stay in London showcases the importance of balancing professional commitments with personal time. This period also allows the coaching staff to recharge before the upcoming fixtures. Fans eagerly await the team's return and anticipate their performance in the upcoming matches.
