Accessing the complimentary WiFi service in Lahore has become more convenient for users with the introduction of the 'CM Maryam Nawaz Free WiFi' option in WiFi settings. This initiative aims to provide seamless internet connectivity in public areas across the city. Recently, the Chief Minister of Punjab instructed the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to improve the existing infrastructure, including hotspots, to enhance internet accessibility in key locations.

The project, approved in a high-level meeting, focuses on implementing free WiFi services in educational institutions, airports, railway stations, and bus terminals, covering 516 locations in Lahore. Previously managed by PTCL, the service is now overseen by PITB, promising significant benefits for the public and advancing digital empowerment in the city.

In parallel, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's initiative to provide motorcycles to students through interest-free installments has garnered widespread interest. Over 100,000 students have registered on the portal, with 16,000 online applications received by PITB.
