The Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Education emphasizes the government's commitment to integrating technology and STEM education, focusing on secondary school girls. The Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, highlighted the government's commitment to integrating technology into the curriculum to meet the demands of the modern era. Speaking at the 'STEM Mela 2024,' organized under the 'STEM Pakistan Policy Unit,' Wani emphasized the importance of providing science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics education to secondary school girls. The event aimed to engage students in hands-on activities and create a conducive learning environment.

With a focus on bringing out-of-school children into the education system, the government aims to ensure that every child receives quality education to contribute to the country's development. New Tell Pakistan CEO Wahaj Siraj encouraged students to pursue their hobbies as professions, develop problem-solving skills, and actively engage in learning.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif's declaration of an educational emergency underscores the government's dedication to promoting education nationwide. The STEM Pakistan program, now operational in over 4,000 public schools with 3,500,000 students enrolled, aims to equip students with 21st-century skills through interactive learning experiences.

The 'STEM Mela' featured various activities such as quiz game shows, art exhibitions, and science demonstrations to spark students' interest in STEM subjects. The event also recognized schools, teachers, and students who actively participated in the program, reflecting the government's efforts to enhance education in Pakistan.
