Muhammad Imran Syed Achieves PhD in Computer Networking from Sorbonne University

Muhammad Imran Syed, a bright student hailing from the remote Nauranga village in Mianwali District, has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining a PhD in Computer Networking from Sorbonne University in France. His father, Syed Aqeel Hussain Shah, beamed with pride as he watched his son receive this prestigious degree at the university's auditorium. Imran Syed's academic feat culminated in the successful defense of his PhD thesis on September 5, 2023.

Imran Syed's educational odyssey commenced with a Bachelor's degree in Telecom Engineering from Bahria University Islamabad, where he graduated with a silver medal. Subsequently, he pursued dual Master's degrees in mobile and Satellite Communications, one from the University of Glamorgan in Wales and the other through a scholarship from the European Institute of Technology (EIT) in Berlin, Germany, and Sorbonne, France.

Following the completion of his second Master's degree, Imran Syed was granted a scholarship for a PhD program in Computer Networking at Sorbonne University Paris. Over a span of three years, he authored five research papers that were approved, presented at conferences, and published in various esteemed international journals.

Imran Syed's academic accomplishments stand as a testament to his unwavering dedication and relentless hard work. Notably, he is the grandson of the late Headmaster Atta Muhammad Shah, a revered educationist in Mianwali District.
