OPPO quietly launches the A60 smartphone in Vietnam, featuring Snapdragon 680 processor, 5000mAh battery, and 50MP camera.

OPPO has quietly introduced its latest A-series model, the Oppo A60, in Vietnam. The smartphone, which was previously spotted in the Google Play Console, is now available in the Vietnamese market and is expected to expand to more regions soon.

Contrary to its name, the Oppo A60 is not a successor to the A59 but rather follows the A58 4G model. The new budget-friendly phone features a Snapdragon 680 processor, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a significant upgrade from its predecessor's eMMC 5.1 storage.

Performance-wise, the Snapdragon 680 processor in the A60 offers improved battery life compared to the A58's Helio G85. The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging, faster than the older 33W charging found in previous A series phones.

In terms of camera capabilities, the A60 maintains the same camera setup as the A58, featuring a 50-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The A60 also sports a lower-resolution HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, stereo speakers, and a headphone jack.

Running on Android 14-based ColorOS 14.0.1 out of the box, the A60 offers an IP54 rating and a design language reminiscent of the Reno11 F. OPPO has released two variants of the A60 in Vietnam, with prices yet to be disclosed for both models.

While the availability of the Oppo A60 in other markets remains unknown, enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting official announcements from OPPO regarding its global release. Stay tuned for further updates on this promising new addition to the A-series lineup.
