SCO Empowers Youth in AJ&K with Freelancing Hub

The Special Communications Organization (SCO) has taken a significant step towards empowering the youth of Haveli, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) by inaugurating a Freelancing Hub. This initiative aims to provide local youngsters with the necessary skills and resources in the field of Information Technology (IT) to foster business growth and development.

The Freelancing Hub in Haveli is part of a larger network of seven such hubs across AJ&K, strategically located in Kel, Kamhora Ghambir, Hattian, Goharabad, Khairowal, and Koniyon. These hubs serve as platforms for young individuals to enhance their IT capabilities, with connections to major district-level IT hubs for knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Major General Umar Ahmad Shah HI(M), DG SCO, emphasized the organization's commitment to revolutionizing the IT landscape in the region through the establishment of the Freelancing Hub in Haveli. This initiative underscores SCO's dedication to nurturing local talent and promoting digital inclusivity, ultimately contributing to the growth of IT skills and the local economy.
