SEMIFIVE and Atron Technologies Partner for Semiconductor Innovation in China

SEMIFIVE, a leading provider of design solutions and custom silicon solutions, has recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Atron Technologies, a company based in China, on May 23, 2024. This partnership focuses on semiconductor design and manufacturing, with a target on serving customers in China and providing technical support on-site.

On the other hand, SEMIFIVE is known for its SoC platform and ASIC design solutions, with a global presence including offices in the USA and China.

SEMIFIVE recently achieved a milestone by starting mass production of an AI inference custom chip using its 14nm AI SoC platform. Additionally, the commercialization of an NPU chip for HPC applications, designed with its 5nm HPC SoC platform, began in early 2024. The CEOs of both companies expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration and the potential for business expansion in China.
