In a notable appointment, H.E. Mohamed Ben Amor, the General Director of the Arab Information and Communications Technologies Organization (AICTO), has been named the Executive Director and Chairman of the Board. This change comes after Mr. Sun Fengquan transitioned to the role of Honorary Chairman while continuing his duties as Chief Executive Officer. The Group has also welcomed Mr. Boris Tadić, a former President of Serbia, as an independent non-executive Director. These appointments are expected to optimize the board structure and bolster corporate governance, paving the way for enhanced international business development.

H.E. Ben Amor holds a Master’s degree in International Project Management and Human Resources from the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts in Paris. With over a decade of experience in project management and ICT development, he has been instrumental in promoting the development of ICT in the Arab region since 2016. Meanwhile, Mr. Tadić, who served as the President of Serbia from 2004 to 2012, brings a rich background in defense and telecommunications, having held various ministerial positions prior to his presidency.
As part of the board restructuring, several directors have resigned, including Professor Guo Huadong, Dr. Mazlan Binti Othman, and Professor Wang Jianyu. Each of these individuals has confirmed that their resignations were amicable and that there are no disagreements with the board.
