USPACE Technology Group achieves a milestone by completing the first test satellite for Alya-1 Satellite Constellation, showcasing commitment to environmental conservation and strategic partnerships.

USPACE Technology Group Limited has achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing the first test satellite for the Alya-1 Satellite Constellation, a project undertaken for Alya Satélite e Produção de Fotografias Aéreas Limitada (Alya Space). This accomplishment marks a shift from research and development to full-scale satellite manufacturing for USPACE.

In a major agreement signed in October 2023, USPACE committed to producing 108 earth observation satellites for Alya Space, with a contract value of US$675 million. The recent completion of factory testing for the test satellite is a crucial step towards manufacturing the remaining satellites in the constellation.

Alya Space has secured the necessary orbital frequency for its satellite constellation and plans to launch the test satellite in the fourth quarter of 2024. USPACE has also provided monitoring image data of the Amazon rainforest to Alya Space as part of their contract, showcasing a dedication to environmental conservation.

USPACE's expansion strategy includes partnerships with the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) and intentions for a dual listing in the Middle East. Noteworthy additions to the company's board of directors, such as Nathan Whigham and Shaikh Mohammed Maktoum Juma Al-Maktoum, further enhance its industry expertise.

Ms. Aila, Chairwoman of Alya Space, expressed satisfaction with the test satellite and the data monitoring services provided by USPACE. Mr. Sun Fengquan, Chairman and CEO of USPACE, emphasized the collaboration with Alya Space and expressed optimism for future cooperation.

USPACE's capabilities encompass satellite constellation engineering, satellite design and manufacturing, satellite telemetry, tracking and control services, and electronic manufacturing. The recent establishment of Hong Kong's first satellite AIT centre underscores the company's commitment to advancing satellite technology.
