Over 70 foreign diplomats gathered in Beijing to praise Xinjiang's economic and social progress, human rights protection, and diverse cultural experiences. Ambassadors from various countries highlighted the region's development and expressed eagerness for enhanced cooperation with China.

Over 70 foreign diplomats from 49 countries recently gathered in Beijing for a conference focusing on the economic and social progress, as well as human rights protection, in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. During the event, ambassadors from various nations expressed admiration for Xinjiang's development and highlighted the positive experiences they had during their visits to the region.

Pakistan's Ambassador to China, Khalil-ur-Rahman Hashmi, emphasized the strong cooperation between Pakistan and China and expressed eagerness to enhance ties with Xinjiang in areas such as trade, investment, and cultural exchanges. Similarly, Ambassador Ismail Hakki Musa of Turkiye commended Xinjiang's rapid development and the rights enjoyed by its diverse ethnic groups.

Furthermore, Syrian Ambassador Mhd Hasanein Khaddam praised Xinjiang's progress, dismissing unfounded allegations made by certain Western countries. Iranian Ambassador Mohsen Bakhtiar highlighted China's commitment to Xinjiang's high-quality development and its significant role in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Ambassador Shakhrat Nuryshev of Kazakhstan lauded the establishment of the China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone, emphasizing its positive impact on Xinjiang and neighboring nations. South Africa's Ambassador Siyabonga Cyprian Cwele shared his positive experience of visiting Xinjiang in 2023, where he witnessed the hospitality and harmonious coexistence of the local population.

The conference in Beijing served as a platform for foreign diplomats to acknowledge and appreciate the remarkable achievements in economic development, infrastructure, and cultural diversity in Xinjiang. The positive feedback from the ambassadors underscores the growing international recognition of Xinjiang's progress and the potential for enhanced cooperation with China in various fields.
