Al Masaood Group partners with Dongfeng for UAE expansion

Al Masaood Commercial Vehicles & Equipment (CV&E), a division of Al Masaood Group, has recently secured exclusive distributorship rights for Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles, a leading Chinese automotive manufacturer. This partnership signifies a significant expansion for Al Masaood, introducing a wide range of Dongfeng's commercial vehicles to the UAE market, including heavy, light, and medium-duty trucks.

The collaboration was officially announced at a launch event held at the Dubai Autodrome, showcasing the introduction of seven new truck models, including two advanced electric vehicles. This move represents a shift for Al Masaood towards offering a more diverse range of vehicles, catering to the needs of small and medium enterprises as well as larger corporations.

Chinese brands like Dongfeng have been gaining traction in the global trucking industry due to their reputation for innovation, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. In the Middle East, these vehicles have become popular for their adaptability to the region's challenging environments and diverse market demands.

Hani El Tannir, CEO of Al Masaood Group Industrial, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the potential to provide customers with high-quality products and solutions that enhance their operations and logistics efficiency. Mohammad El Zeftawi, General Manager of Al Masaood CV&E, emphasized the added value of including light and medium-duty vehicles in their portfolio, alongside heavy-duty trucks and electric models.

The collaboration with Dongfeng will enable Al Masaood to leverage the Chinese company's expertise in vehicle technology and ongoing support services, aiming to deliver tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of customers in the UAE. Gong Renjun, Regional Director at Dongfeng Automobile Company, emphasized the opportunity to bring innovative and high-quality commercial vehicles to the UAE market through this strategic partnership.
