To qualify for the 'BUY & TAX REFUND' service, tourists must meet specific criteria, such as staying in mainland China for no more than 183 consecutive days and departing from any international airport in Shanghai within 17 days of purchase. Eligible tourists can receive a cash refund based on the actual VAT refund amount for tax-free items on the same day of purchase within Plaza 66.

Customers interested in availing of this service need to present a valid passport or identification documents, complete a refund application form, and submit it at the 'Buy & Tax Refund' counter of the HANDSFREE booth on B2/F of the shopping mall. The service is applicable for purchases ranging from RMB 500 to 110,000, and customers must follow specific steps, including confirming the tax refund amount and completing necessary forms for the tax refund process.
