Finance Minister meets Korean Ambassador for economic collaboration

Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb recently conducted a meeting with the Korean Ambassador and representatives of Korean Companies in Pakistan to discuss mutual interests. The meeting aimed to strengthen economic ties between the two countries and address concerns faced by Korean businesses operating in Pakistan.

The meeting, which took place on Monday, was attended by key officials including the Secretary Ministry of Communications, Chairman National Highway Authority (NHA), MD Private Power & Infrastructure board (PPIB), and senior officers from relevant ministries. The Finance Minister emphasized the positive developments in Pakistan's macroeconomic landscape, particularly highlighting the growth in foreign exchange reserves. He assured the Korean companies of the government's commitment to supporting their operations in the country.

The Korean Ambassador praised Pakistan's economic initiatives and the robust bilateral relations shared between the two nations. He emphasized the need to capitalize on the unexplored opportunities for further collaboration. Representatives from Korean companies expressed their concerns to the Minister regarding project timelines and operational efficiency, seeking solutions to enhance their business activities in Pakistan.
