Sanaullah Khan meets Philippine Ambassador to boost trade ties

Senior Vice President of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Sanaullah Khan, recently met with Maria Agnes M Cervantes, the Ambassador of the Philippines to Pakistan in Peshawar. The meeting emphasized the importance of enhancing trade and economic relations between Pakistan and the Republic of the Philippines. Khan highlighted the vast potential for trade cooperation between the two countries and emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to benefit from each other's expertise.

Ambassador Maria Agnes M Cervantes encouraged businessmen from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to explore investment opportunities in the Philippines, pointing out the promising prospects for boosting bilateral trade relations. Both nations share a history of friendly trade, cultural, and diplomatic ties, and fostering mutual cooperation is expected to further enhance collaboration across various sectors.

The event was attended by notable figures including Vice President of SCCI Ejaz Khan Afridi, former President of FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilour, former Vice President of FPCCI Hanif Gohar, Honorary Consul General of the Philippines in Karachi Dr. Imran Yousuf, Honorary Consul General of the Philippines in Lahore Fahdal Sheikh, and executive committee members of SCCI.
